ICT as medium for Advocacy

 1.The Information and Communications has transformed the educational methodologies, before we use the traditional teaching in which the teacher is always the center of everything and the main source of knowledge for the student. The way of teaching was all about lecturing, recitation  and memorization ,the student had to sit and just listen or watch  to the teacher deliver the information/knowledge. To lecture based student to listened ,notes taken and exam. And now in Senior High School with the new technology the way of teaching is more actively the student are more active in position to questions, explaining and challenging, and demonstrations and to engaging to contribute to what they learn from the lesson. And now more interactive ,more in critical thinking, less talk from the teacher, and more participation of the students. We can now easily to research our assignment on internet.

2. Consider the following for comparison

A. The singing of national anthem:

Before we form a line,sing the national anthem with conductor(teacher). And now we follow the  same practices to form a line but the conductor was the student. Other we can hear a song national anthem through virtual with use of laptop.

B. Concept notes:

Before we take down our notes and assignment with  our notebook and now we to take a picture of the notes and assignment before we write them in our notebook.

C. Presentation of visual aids:

Before we use of cartolina or manila paper to present our reporting  and now same also use of cartolina or manila paper  but sometimes we use computer/laptop with use of PowerPoint to present our  visual aid. 

D. Class record:

Before the teacher use the class record book and same also in high school but with the new technology some teacher use Electronic class records.

E. Class dismissal

Before and now same practices and routine that we follow. 

In the end of the lesson period the teacher says" class dismissed".

F. Assignment and research

Before we take down our notes and assignment in our notebooks and to search our assignment or projects we went to library(book) for research. And now we can easily to research our assignment in the internet all the information are there.
